Default up rated ariel

Coolcat, Thanks, you come over as an excellent asset to your company and I'd like your opinion on: What is the best universal Ariel available in the Market place - As it's a Universal Ariel, I assume they would be compatible to the Navall Star.

Default Navall firmware update.

I see the Navall star is being advertised with a new UI, does this mean there is an update for us soon as well?

Hi,
When I click on the dash cam button, it says insufficient memory only 7G, I have a 16 GB SD card in the second slot, what is happening, how do I know the camera is recording?

Cheers,
SJR

The unit will display a red dot in the top right hand corner when the camera is recording.
You need to tell the unit to record to your 16gb card. By default it records onto the Navigation card if memory serves me.

I haven't got a unit in front of me at the moment and can't remember exactly how to do it but as soon as I have a unit in front of me I shall explain how to do it

They have the MG, Rover and Rover facelift badges preinstalled, so if you want to change to any of those Please go to "car setting ---> Common ---> Boot Logo (Password: 9999) --- Select your logo there.
I installed my new head unit tonight, which was relatively straightforward to do. Great sound coming from it too, nice unit, well impressed.

However if I follow you instructions above to change the boot logo I cannot get it to change to Facelift badge. Should I be inputting a different number ? I get to the point of imputing the 9999 then press the tick button but the unit does not seem do anything once ticked?

That info is correct.........however !!

There is the chance that with the new GUI that is on the latest Navall Star the password may have been changed.

If Sean doesn't get to this first (as I'm off to bed) I'll check one of the new units tomorrow at work and report back

I have been using DAB+ now for a couple of weeks and wow. Really impressed.

A couple of questions though regarding the app.

It's really simple to use which is great however is it possible to memory store favourite channels? Also is there an option to mute when the signal drops? I've looked but cannot see a settings option.

If anyone is wondering about getting DAB my experience says go for it
