Default Another Clutch issue

Hi all. I've not been on here much lately as the 190 has been behaving itself!

That is until a couple of days ago when the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there.
After a good look at it, it was due to a small crack in the pipe between the master cylinder and the connection on the clutch housing.
So I went to the DMGRS site where all things MG Rover can be bought, only to find that a new master cylinder comes with a connecting pipe that I cant use as it won't fit to the connection on the clutch housing, and recommended we use the original pipe that is on the old master cylinder.
Of course this is not possible as mine has a crack in it.
So what do I do next? I've thought that maybe a 10mm heating compression connector may do the trick but what have others done?
Any ideas would be welcome. Steve

perhaps a place that does hydraulic pipes can make you a pipe using you fittings or can provide you a joint so you can cut out the split and replace with a joint.... not the smoking type either

Yes, my thoughts as well but I just wondered if there was a known fix. I suppose there aren't any RHD units left now and LHD is the only way. Pity my pipe has a leak.
I'll have a go with the straight connector but the plastic will be a bit brittle I think. If that doesn't work then its on to the pipe maker.
Thanks. Steve
