A wise man once said

There are 12 days of Christmas.........and none of them are in November

Personally I would ban Christmas adverts until December

I think the 'big' Christmas ads were good a couple of years ago but, they seem to be trying a bit too hard with them now...........they can be quite annoying

Agree!
I do actually really enjoy Christmas but as soon as I mention the fact that Christmas celebrations need only start a week before Christmas Day, I get called Bah Humbug
I saw the first mention of Christmas this year at the beginning of September FFS

I blame the marketing wallahs, obsessed with trying to get people into more debt. Endless adverts desperate to sell loads of 'stuff'

You are right, I get suckered into it by buying in loads of goodies, extra meat Etc, it`s only a two day break but get brainwashed by all the lovely looking food in the adds.
My mind is thinking if I don`t get this and see it on the tele and don`t have it I`m missing out.
I think I still have a pork joint in the freezer from last Christmas....
overkill or what.
Ken.

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
