Default Cossie Dunc and my V6 belts!

Just home after having my V6 belts etc done. Peace of mind. Thanks again mate great service as always.
While he was slaving over the timing belts I had a trip to Edinburgh and.....lunch on the Royal Yacht Britannia. What an awesome job they have made of making it a fantastic visit. If you haven't been and can go I thoroughly recommend it.
The engine room has to be seen to be believed. Lovely food in the restaurant on board. Good service too. I settled for delicious apple pie and ice cream and a hot chocolate.
Spent some time on Edinburgh buses and remembered why I like my car so much. The roads are shocking state. Bus crashing through potholes and bumps so it was rattling! Bad visitor impression!
Saw the trams running too as they are busy staff training and system testing. Going to go back for a trip when open.
A lovely drive home too in my lovely 75 knowing the belts are done. A good start to my holiday.

Good stuff, he certainly seems to know the V6 very well... I may have to drop him a PM as I'm doing mine soon.

Hang on, was this the belt kit I sent over?

Very good - I do like those kits. Same as is going on my 180 next week. If I was closer, he'd be doing it - unfortunately I'm pretty far from the specialists here, so DIY it is.
Happy purring...

Wait until you see the state of the roads. Potholes all over the place.

Yes, it is a great place.

Nothing but praise for Dunc. When I left mine to get the slave done he ran me to the railway station and picked me up there the folowing day. Really nice guy as well.

I am assuming the walk down to the docks in Edinburgh, is it through Leith?, is somewhat more pleasant than it was a few years back ?
