In the K Series VVC cars (TF, ZR etc) you are likely to loose power and torque but im not sure about the turbos.

My own personal view is why de-cat it? What are you hoping to gain?

The 1.8T is fast enough as is and at MOT time you will need to put the CAT on/off each time.

If you are looking to improve on performance . . . spend the cash on a Z&F remap instead.

ROVER UPGRADE
150 to 160 bhp
£219

ZT/ROVER
full remap 204 bhp /270Nm
£239

Both versions contain a useful midrange torque boost !

Why not fit a 200cpsi sports cat?

Very free flowing while keeping the car road legal.
