Took the car for a blast on the motorway, it's first decent run since replacing belts, front springs and a multitude of other items.

Over a year it's been off the road.

Had Gendarms behind me at one point but they didn't pull me because of the smiley rear plate.

Boy did I enjoy that

Finished the bumper after 5 hours! Haven't even had the chance to look at how pretty it is, because it is sitting face down so the bonding agent cures properly, I will add a pic or 2 tomorrow morning when it gets put kn

I know this is a bit offtopic, but I really think there is no need to make a new topic just for this one tiny little question:
Can you open the doors with a key that has no chip or electronics inside? Just the bare metal keyblad.

I know it won't start the car, but will it open the doors? (and by doing so, disable the alarm).

Smile Norwich and back

Yesterday I took a nice relaxing trip to norwich and back. After 4 days im starting to enjoy the easy driving of the 2.0l v6 but have noticed a few 'new' noises such as a clunk when the lights turn on. Also since i checked the plenums i have a rattly dash!!!!

Thanks guys, that was all I wanted to know.

So back ontopic: I didn't do much today, but yesterday I installed a LED in the accessories socket in the armrest. Somewhere later this week I'm gonna finish installing a few LED light in the armrest itself. It will switch on/off when you open/close the lid.

Default Today finally....

I finished running in my Diesel by hitting the 100,000 mile mark.
Now I can start really enjoying the driving experience.

I did the exact same yesterday, hopefully to cure the chronic leaky back end my ZT has had for years (judging by the rust marks in the spare wheel well dampness of the interior carpet). All good so far so fingers crossed!
