Default Reversing switch

Just gave my car a quick clean this morning but found the reversing lights were not working and upon inspecting the reversing switch found that the connector has unclipped itself and has disapeared back somewhere .
Any ideas about where to look as had a quick look but couldn't find where the connector goes back to as only had a trolley jack to get underneath it with.

I had to take the N/S front wheel off mine and have a good root about to find the wire!
