As you know mick it's much a personal thing lowering the cars and the bigger wheels and stuff. I'm glad your pleased with your out come and I'm sure you'll be pleased if you fit the rear anti roll bar. I love the touring car look and feel it's just me and love that I can fling my car into a corner or round about and it s glued to the road. All hail the lowered section ha ha

You are correct. Facelift N/A 1.8s lost the anti roll bar and engine undertray as part of Project Drive. I beleive revised springs and dampers are fitted to compensate.

Mines a turbo,no rear anti roll bar but it does have an undertray.

According to Reebs' excellent Project Drive thread, Rear anti-roll bar was deleted on 1.8 petrol and 2.0 Diesels in June 2002. The Engine Undertray was deleted on 1.8 petrol models in September 2002.

However, the undertray would be an easy retro-fit. The anti-roll bar, less easy.

I notice on your original post you said (N/A 1.8's),i wonder if those deletions applied to ALL 1.8's? As you say though, the undertray may have been retro'd

As yours is a 1.8T with no anti-roll bar I would say that's a fair assumption.
