Default KODI and Navall 3 - Works, but need help

I have installed KODI onto my machine and it works very well playing anything i throw at it. However i would like to have the steering wheel controls (SWC) working.

Anyone have an idea on how to get them working with 3rd party apps.??

Very likely that you simply can't.

To use the steering wheel controls, you need an app that knows exactly what driver to use, so you'd have to run into an app made by a Rover/MG enthusiast who happens to have this unit installed and who felt like publishing his app.

Pretty small chance of that. If the app doesn't support it as a standard option, then there is pretty much no chance at all to ever have the steering wheels controls working with a 3rd party app.

It would be awesome if the Navall people could just create an app that allows you to use the steering wheels controls on any app, not just the stock media player.

Does the unit have USB input, and if so does a USB keyboard work in KODI?
