Default My 75

I only joined the forum last week and did say that i would get some pictures of my 75 uploaded as soon as i got chance to clean it. I only got the car two weeks ago, having moved up from a 45, and was looking for a Connoisseur but when i saw this i knew it was the car for me. It is a 2.0 Club SE with the harmon kardon speaker upgrade, i fitted the chrome mirrors earlier today and next on my list is some leather seats.

A real stunner. 46k that's not even run in yet.

I'd be interested to know if yours has the cabling in place for the electric seats. my Y reg Club SE didn't and I had to make up my own loom.

Thank for all the kind comments everyone. There are a few jobs to do but it does seem to be in very good order. I dont know about the seat wiring, i need to have a look into that - if it isnt there i may just keep an eye out for some manual leather seats although i suppose they will be quite rare.

Sorry, doesn't ring any bells, but we have only been here 18 months having moved from my home town of Bristol.

I'm sure we'll meet, as you say, it's a small place.

Steve.
Manual leather seats do exist. I looked at a y plate 1.8 Classic in Moonstone that had them. I even considered buying it, swapping the seats in to my Royal Blue car and then selling it on but the seller wanted too much money.

Once you have all the old seats out installing your own loom isn't difficult. I did mine start to finish, including making the loom and installing the cable for the boot-mounted Cd Changer in about 6 hours.

Looking at your pics again, I've just realised yours is very late registered Cowley-built car so you won't have the early Project Drive deletions I found on mine so the seat wiring may be in place.

A lovely looking car. I know its an early model and I'm probably wrong but the picture looks like you have a later style plastic dash as opposed to a wooden veneer one
