Blue cards
Sin bins and players removed from the field using blue cards .... The game of soccer is being ripped apart at the seams. Tweaks to rules are one thing ,but dramatic changes as to how the game is played american style is another . this is another VAR disaster waiting down the road.

I heard about this a couple of days ago on talksport and there was unanimous condemnation of it from both pundits and callers. As for VAR well yes it's a disaster in my opinion especially where goals are concerned. Its taken the spontaneity out of the game, human error (the officials) is just part of the game. One of the callers suggested a new rule borrowed from rugby I think he said. That is only the team captains can speak to the ref about any controversial decisions.I'd be 100% for that,I think it's absolutely disgraceful when the whole team surrounds the ref lambasting him for calling it as he saw it.Give them a straight red if any player other than the captain approaches the ref to argue.

I agree with the above. All of a sudden old established practices that work well and words that are perfectly adequate are being trashed by, er, who knows whom? Answer: know-nothing back room busybodies with nowt to do. The next step could be pink grass. Or even worse, grey tarmac - it saves money on mowing every week.
