Default Headliner water leak

With the heavy rain recently I seem to have developed a leak. After rain I go to get into the car and sometimes one or both of the front seats are wet, When I drive I can see water dripping from the pillar covers at the side of the windscreen and sometimes from the courtesy light.

I do have a sunroof. Carpets are dry throughout. Does anybody know what might be causing this and how to rectify this.

I think your drain tubes are blocked.

Or if like mine, when I took the headliner out to re upholster it,I found one of the sunroof drain tubes was not even connected and looks like it never has been from the factory. The drain tube was just short of the drain so extended it.

I had a similar leak on a sunroof equipped tourer. When I'ld brake water would drip down onto the gearshift.

The front drains had blocked to the point where the sunroof well had filled up.
Bit of a job to unblock them but I used the guide here and the halfords pipe joiners along with a long drain unblocking spiral spring I got from a hardware chainstore.
