Mostly worn out shocks are worn out everywhere. Must be cheaper to buy new than try and refurb the old ones.
To refurb old ones would mean just about changing everything.--- |

But, refurbishing shockers appears to be the done thing for motorcycles and there doesn't seem to be a lot of companies doing it for cars. A few over seas which is possible if I cant find anywhere in the UK. If its problematic, I buy new.

A friend of mine rebuilds, re valves and balances sets of coilovers for racing cars - trust me it's cheaper to buy new 75/ZT dampers he wouldn't do anything with a standard damper for a car anyway.
There must be classic cars that you can't buy new dampers for so it would seem likely there are people who can do it however |
