Default buying a zt or 75

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy as reliable as possible a 75/ZT.
I think I prefer the 75, and for reliability have been told aim for a manual 2.0l diesel mark 2.
Ideally though I'd prefer an automatic, or the 2.5 v6 option, but wondered what thoughts on reliabilty were? Plus any other advice you have! Probably looking to spend around 1000?

Any advice much appreciated

Cheers,
Ed

I've had a 2 ltr diesel that was awefull terrible emissions, everything was rotten had another than needed some work but great on fuel and would pull like a train and now have a v6 zt and while not as good on fuel the soundtrack is wonderful and so much fun to drive lol

I own both and love them for their different characteristics. The ZT is a true sports saloon, whilst the 75 is a gentlemen's carriage.

All my diesels have been automatics, and I haven't encountered any problems so far. (touch wood).
