She than has a pre-assessment appointment for her chemo treatment at 1.30pm - could be a tight fit for me to get to the hospital by then if the oxygen is late. We can then bring her home - but there is a disagreement as to how we do that. A nurse told us it would be easier by car, rather than having to wait for an ambulance equipped with oxygen. This only applies if the portable cylinders have been delivered in time, so that I can carry one in my car. Personally, I prefer the ambulance option. On Friday, it's back to the hospital for a minimum of 4.5 hours for her to undergo kidney function tests. We then get a break until next Wednesday before we have to take her back again for her first chemotherapy session.
I'm worn out just planning all the journeys.
All the best Rod for the week ahead with your sister. Ask the crew how to change the cylinder and how to monitor the oxygen machine, the flow rate and if your sister is going have a mask with a nebuliser or delivery of the O2 via nasal tubes.

My thoughts are with you mate.

Hey Dave cheers mate, Cant say it's been an enjoyable time of late, been up to see him tonight & he's not shaking as much and I even got a response out of him albeit a grunt when I said It's me Ian.

Me & my Sis went to see his doctor today & he was adamant it was the chemist fault until we showed him the prescription he's written out.

I know it's not intentional but it made dad extremely ill prior to going into hospital.

Already on my second bottle of Henry Weston Andy, It's so muggy here I doubt I'll get much sleep tonight unless I've had a tipple or two.

I've just ordered a maple stratocaster neck for a strat body with ironstone pickups and I've got a set of Japanese tuners in a drawer somewhere too.
