Smart TV Media Streamer Boxes

A new smart TV is beyond my budget at the moment so looking at smart TV media boxes, but I don't know much about these, anyone got any experience with them? Any recommendations?

My mate has this one from Ebay and its very good. He's ditched his Sky box since buying it.
