You cannot really complain about that!

Those timings are possibly right but that still works out at a labour rate of £70+ per hour and most independent garages around here charge around £40 per hour for labour.

But in any event, although there is a lot I cannot do myself and have to pay a mechanic to do, I wouldn't pay someone £6 to change a set of windscreen wipers for example. I could buy a pint of beer in a pub for that!
