This is the car in her current state, still a few jobs to do but overall I’m very happy with the outcome.

Hiding under the cover is the next project and my intention is that it will be a show car only.

Hi Dave, it seems that you have really cracked on with your ‘well loved’ car since the fireworks show at Boxtel. Still trying to get on with mine. Life keeps getting in the way, along with the rain. Yours will certainly be a nice motor when you have de bodged it. Has the other project got a spoiler on the back?

Hi Dave,

I'm almost there with the car, new clutch going in and then I have to replace the rear shocks, and that's about it, I'll wait till the warmer weather before I give the rear subframe a coat of paint.

I've got some illuminated kick plates on her now from Rick, and I have to say it really sets the car off when the doors are opened.

Yes the other one has a rear spoiler, I'll be starting a whole new thread on her very soon so watch this space.

Warmer weathers on its way mate so you'll have plenty of time

I bought a da polisher, then used megiars cutting polish followed by autoglym polish, the results are amazing, Ignition blue really does shine.

Stainless grille now fitted, this is how they should of left the factory instead of that cheap steel one.

I’ve also had the wheels refurbished in this dark anthracite.
