Cool Quick question on subframes..............

........................................... other than the kit car V8, are the front subframes interchangeably on our cars?

Going by Rimmers there are two versions:
KGB000311 - all petrol 75 models
KGB000321 - ZT/ZT-T and all diesels

I think the only difference is the bushes, the zt has solid ones.

Yep, ive fitted petrol to diesel and vice versa.

The only differences are.....

Position of the captive nut that secures the teardrop mount

Position of bracketry to secure things such as oil coolers, etc.

LHD or RHD

They can be made to be interchangeable, however if you are planning to change yours, I would have to ask why, and if you are, then if I recall, Rimmer Bros had new ones for £125+vat, much better than a secondhand one

The one we took off of the 1.8t 75 Tourer is in excellent condition and I was just wondering if it fitted the ZT saloon.
