Default Not been a good few weeks...

Feel a tad deflated in recent weeks, as and when I have had a spare 5 minutes and when the weather allows I have been out trying to do things with 'OTT' but it seems to me I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

As someone that posted on social media the 'restoration' of the underside of the vehicle I felt that when I went to view the car I had no cause to look underneath...that was a big mistake on my part! Following my other thread on the mystery noises coming from the car I went to have a look at the engine mounts and to my horror I have discovered this on all four corners...

Looks like when I service it I am going to have to take off the sills and sort that too just hope its not terminal.

Classic failure point - sill jacking pads - always pays to keep them full of Dinitrol cavity wax. Tom Hobbs of Nottingham is the go to man for sill welding - great quality everyone on here says and a reasonable price.

Is that OTT as in blue ZT with white strip over the top?

That passed me today, going the other way.

It's not the end of the world. Mine was like that underneath what appeared good. It was limited to the area immediately around the jacking point and easily fixed with a bit of welding, grinding and repainting. Now solid again. The plating was done with thicker than original metal, so I don't have jacking pads any more, just use my own pad on a jack, on the reinforced section. (In my opinion, better than original).

Would it not make sense to try and reduce the size of the picture before posting? just to make it a bit easier on the readers and cut down on bandwidth?

In case people do not know how to do that, some knowledgeable IT guy can maybe chime in, but a size reduction function is normally available in any picture handling software under "edit". Many will also recommend sizes for different applications, such as this one.

If nothing else is available, try this link for a good, free picture handling program: http://tinypic.com/

thank you.
If this happens, press ctrl - until the image comes to view. You cannot read the text easily but you can view the images and then press ctrl + to return size.

Sharp! works fine! but a smaller size pic would be best option.

Yes, but when people have other things on their minds, or simply a lack of knowledge, it is not always possible.
