Default new source lhd headlights?

Ok this is a bit of a leap but wondering if the Chinese roewe headlights would fit our cars, believe the Chinese drive on the right, most of the time. Anyone looked in to the possibility of getting new lhd lights from China? Any idea of prices?

If your still looking there's a pair on ebay at the moment, 9 day listing and starting at £100.

Hey !! fellow posters.

Just had a flash of inspiration. ( I think. Lol )

Swop the standard halogen headlights for a pair of halogen Projector lights.

These have a built in switch for going from RHD to LHD for continental use.

Anybody know any reason why this idea wouldn't work ????

( Can be bought for a little over 100 quids for the pair. )

I do !!
The switch that can be found on some cars (i.e. the TF) does blank (!) of the beam to prevent blinding upcoming traffic. However, it doesn't mirror/invert or switch the beampattern in the other direction. It is like sticking those black patterns on the lenses. It prevents the blinding but doesn't change the lights from RHD to LHD.

explained by ASCII

beam pattern of RHD \__\__ becomes __ __ instead of the LHD pattern: __/__/

Guess he's going to have them buried with him when he pops his clogs.
