Yep, but Wales is just too far for one day for me!
I'll wait and see where the second national is going to be this year.
I have been to the Cosford meet, Peterborough meet and Flixton so far.
Lots of local meets as well, Manningtree three times, two other Essex meets that Lewis arranged and two Halfway house meets so far.
So try to get along to the meets where and when I can.
The problem for Ros and I is running a small local business means we can't afford to close and there isn't enough trade to have staff cover so we have very little holiday time except Bank Holidays really.

I quite understand Jeff, I am the same if the club holds the second meet of the year in September i have so many commitments in that month it makes it impossible for me to attend

Luckily (for me) the photos of me with a fuzzy haircut seem to have gone walkabout (phew!). However, having a thick skin as I do, I give you, for your delectation:

Me & 'er before we married - note my knitted tie and tight trousers - SWMBO was wearing a long skirt that day

Me and 'er having tied the knot - note the beehive hairdo on SWMBO

Me and 'er about to leg it to a hotel for the honeymoon - just look at her barnet - mind you, I had fairly decent sideburns in those days!
For car enthusiasts - its a 1200 Anglia with a 997 cylinder head, which was supposed to improve the compression and therefore the performance - which it did until two pistons disintegrated

We are now in the "let it grow and never cut it" phase of my hair - note the bib to keep food off my shirt - we're not very sophisticated up here!

My wife & I taking the Sunday dinner home during our "wear what you like as long as it is casual" phase

....and finally, as this is a car forum after all ..... another Anglia, note I have correctly complied with the rules of the road as regards obeying give way dotted lines

go on, have a laugh - if I've brought a bit of brightness to your day - great

It wasn't just the Anglia that had a mind of its own I can tell you - it was Angela (SWMBO) too

Evening. Not having a brilliant one myself! I'm a moderator on a guitar forum I started along with a guy from Finland. It has run happily for a number of years, nobody has made waves. We have one member, we know him of old, he almost brought down another forum when he started attacking and belittling other members before being banned. He has kept himself quiet on our forum, quiet almost to the point of being invisible . . . . until now! He has sent a very vindictive PM to another member about something he posted, even ridiculed the fact that the guy is Bipolar! I mean, how low can you get

I am 110% for kicking him out but I don't have the admin powers to do it, my collegue from Finland, who has the powers, is being less decisive about it. I'm getting increasingly frustrated about the situation.

Evening Steve, sorry you're not having the best of evenings. Indecision eh... Often I wonder if people sometimes enjoy hiding behind technology to say unpleasant things... Keyboard warriors... I hope that the man in Finland makes the right decision. Meanwhile glad you're chilling out on here! Always someone in! Rod, some lovely pictures posted too! Didn't know you were a rally driver! One word; Cool! With a relatively short wheelbase the Anglebox must have been a real challenge to control on wet/ slippery corners! :-)
