Handbrake fitting?
Hi Guys.
Needing to replace the brakes on my ZT-T 190. Haven't a problem getting pads, discs, handbrake shoes but can't seem to find a 'fitting kit' for the handbrake. Retaining springs etc. Tried Rimmers, my local motor factors and nothing. Could anyone help me please? Would prefer to replace them as I've already had them dislodge! Not pleasant! Thanks. |

Just done mine, and reused what was there.....I doubt if a kit exists, you'd probably have to order all the bits seperately.

Hi David.
Just wanted to be on the safe side as it had all gone pop once already. X-part dealer told me they were obselete, and my local motor factor doesn't list any bits. |

Now use part "SMN100290" Part Number SMN100290 Description KIT-SHOE REAR BRAKE Retail Price £6.20 inc. VAT (£5.39 exc. VAT) The adjuster gizmo: Part Number SXS100000 Description ADJUSTER Retail Price £7.05 inc. VAT (£6.13 exc. VAT) The shoe expander: Part Number SXR100010 Description EXPANDER-BRAKE Retail Price £13.66 inc. VAT (£11.88 exc. VAT) All these are described on MGRski site and prices from Rimmer's site. |
