engine identification codes

i was looking at engine codes .then looked at mine .but it is differant to whats on the sited data sheets ie 25 k 4f p53 1000101 mine is just numbers ie 81215133701537 which is out of the v5 where do i find the one like you show on the site thanks

Most of the information on the link provided by T-Cut refers to petrol engines with just the numbering format for diesels, which is just numbers no letters with a prefix 204D2.

What exactly are you trying to find out?
