Bob,

It has been a pleasure to know you and the Flying Banana over those years,
Even more of a pleasure to have shared many a hearty meal with you and others whilst chatting the nights away

Here's to the next 5000 Sir

5,000 posts, that's nothing compared with number of posts I hit before I got reversing sensors.

Well done on reaching 5000 posts. I met Bob and Banana for the first time at Gretna, and thoroughly enjoyed the chat about his car and about his travels

Well done on 5000 posts Bob, although we met briefly at Gretna I was hoping for a chat about Banana but alas other things drew me away before we could talk

Bob is right in what he says, the club is the sum total of it's members, and I certainly always enjoy chatting with him whenever and wherever our paths cross.

His dedication cannot be measured, he has to be the most traveled member in terms of attending meetings

I too have found many friendships through the club, and enjoy the banter immensely, so as a fellow 1800 man I salute you

Here's to the next 5000 Bob
