The local is Lignocaine gel.

The downside of catheterisation is there is a risk of infection and you do have to know what you are doing so it’s best left to the professionals to do it or teach you how to self catheterise.

As you know Ian, last weekend 111 called an ambulance to me at 10:30pm. The ambulance arrived at 00:40 and it had to come from South Wales over the bridge to Bristol. A sign of the times…..

The ambulance took me into A&E to the part where the drunks and druggies can’t get access. The crew booked me in quickly and I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving in A&E. It was my first time there, I was impressed….

Another option for you to consider.

I think every time I've been to Bolton A&E it's been over four hours before anyone sees you & it's always full of the drunken idiots shouting & carrying on with police in tow.

I'm hoping there's a phone call on Monday or an appointment letter, Mind you haven't had any post in days with postal strikes (I think!)

Yeah same here , We've had the house lights through the entire day for days now because of how dark & gloomy it is. Whatever happened to those crisp sunny Autumnal days?

Oh! forgot to mention what my daughter got me from the Chinese takeaway last night, Cashew nut special with rice & prawn crackers & I must say it was excellent .

Its dry here but everything is dripping wet from all the rain we've had recently. Temperature is dropping fast as well, snow forecast on the hills north and south of here.
