Soup ended up more of a hybrid. A cross between casserole and soup as not enough liquid used. Still lovely though... Just wouldn't try drinking it

Evening Jeff,

Thank you sir! Thank you all

Quite a long day with more scans of the leg, abdomen, pelvis and then meeting up with the surgical team. Good news on all counts, the new graft in the aorta is working okay and it’s not leaking, so 2nd repair op is not needed…phew! and the aneurysm in the right knee has become marginally smaller not needing a repair within the next 6 months. The team said I must be rescanned in 6 months.

I was reminded me that I have been through a major, major operation and I must take the pain killers for it. Apparently I had been trying to cut back on them too soon.

Above all else, I was told to get on and enjoy life!

All in all, a good report.

Well the sun is shining today and the sky looks quite clear, but it’s certainly not quite warm today. Off to a mate with my neighbour this morning for a game of pool and a coffee at the same place .
Still no appointed made admitted about getting my cranial operated on, and with the health system in this area of the Newcastle is so far out of anything happen near, I have been waiting from the doctor that it is going this year, but I can’t see it done until next year.
But I wouldn’t be expected to wait until this time next year , if I’m lucky.

Morning all,

Dry and bright here but yes, definitely nippy this morning.

Phil - good news, take it steady and win the race.

Rich - good for you. Hope things fall into place soon and we get to catch up this weekend.

Quizzie got soaked (well, more soaked than just going in the river ) yesterday as did her dad. But she had a great time and that's all that matters.

Take care everyone.

Richard if you take a moment to look back to the time when you had the accident and nearly lost your life, despite the obstacles and difficulties you faced, you have done really well. Clearly there are delays to your new parts being delivered. You are continuing to show incredible patience, so do keep at it, keep occupied, practice your rehab techniques until you are called for admission.

Enjoy the morning with your mate.

My doctor who is going to operate on me ,said it would be in early July when I was told I would be waiting to have the size cranial measured since and the operation would be done this year.
Fiona rang the secretary and asked when I could be seen, she said until the cranial arrived , it was then I would be seen pretty soon.
