Mirror and visor wiring
Hi,
Am I right in thinking the auto dip mirror and the illuminated visors can be connected to the interior light? If so what is the best way to do it please? Step by step please I dont want to blow anything! Cheers john

Hi,
I have checked the mirror and it has several cables on a black plug. Can anyone point out which goes where? Thanks John

I dont know if this is any help or not but if you have the following numbers on the roof loom ( saloon) its a simple plug and play.
YMK000680, YMK000700, YMK000720. |

Have a look at the pics and write up here from when I did mine. I had to make the loom up myself as I had no wiring in place, but it is very straight forward. |

Personally, I ease it off from the top, gently moving it towards the rear view mirror, this releases the two or three clips. It is then held in by another clip in the dash, which you release by easing it upward away from the dash, towards the roof.
Its easy, just dont rag it about |

Well I have had time to have a look for the visor wiring.
After a long time on my back in the driver and passenger footwell I found nothing. Actually in the drivers footwell I found a large red, a large grey and a large blue connector a small grey2 pin connector in a large yellow surround and a chunky black 2 pin connector. I have a pic of the 2 pin black but I cant get it to work. After taking out the glove box I found the passenger side visor cable tucked in the far left corner. Removed the pillar routed the cable job done. Still can't find the driver side one. I have taken off every bit of trim I could and even peeled back some carpet....nothing. I have no doubt its there some where but I couldn't find it. The pic of the plug is in my image gallery I think. Cheers john
