Refurbishing wooden steering wheels
I recall reading a pretty comprehensive post here some time ago but have been unable to find it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction because I'll be having a go at turning a light oak/smokestone into a black oak/black over the next couple of months and I'd like to know the right way to go about it and the best materials to use (especially the wood preparation and wood dye/varnish) to give a durable facelift. |
