Default rover 75 auto gearbox ecu.

I need to replace the auto gearbox ecu on my 2005 rover 75 2.0v6 petrol. I can buy a new one which I know will have to be programmed into my car. Does anyone know if I buy a used one (quite a few on ebay) will I still have to get it programmed into the car.?.

These are normally very reliable Walter, who said you needed a new one? Lion Garage?

The answer is you can use a second hand one, bu they need to be configured using T4, something I can sort out if you think it's needed
