Default Fitting a Pioneer Double Din DAB

Hello all,
Missing my hands free that I had in the old ZT so decided to update the Rover 75 with a Pioneer FH-S820DAB as it also has a really bad JVC single din head unit installed.
Having read all the issues with the fascia ie you cant use the cage and have to remove the radio bezel and find some way of securing the unit to the bezel from behind etc etc I managed to find a really simple and rock solid way of mating the two together. all you need is two pieces of Meccano to span/attach from the side of the fascia (there is a pre-molded hole on each side) to the side of the radio unit.
With the bezel fixed securely to the radio unit I was wondering, prior to starting the fitting job at weekend, if the depth of such units was prohibitive. Having measured the unit to be 170mm from the back of the fascia, will anything need cutting etc, also the unit tilts back when mated to the fascia. this looks correct but will the extra 20mm off level foul anything?

I know I will find out on Saturday sure enough, but just seeing if anyone has experience of fitting one of these head units.
