I had this fault for me it was the boot rubber seal leaking. the water was behind the carpet to the right of the boot. Water was causing a fault in the reversing sensor control unit i just disconnected it.

my battery is at 12.5V my voltmeter is showing 0.38amps drainage is this normal i know for most cars it should be around 0.05(50milliamps) my reading is about 8 times normal unless 0.38Amps for a '99 cdt without navigation TV, webasto(FBH) fuse out, is normal, is it?

It's not Normal. --Much too high.

0.05 is much more like it.

Question Huh ?

"It drains at 0.09A with fuse 5 in and 0.05A with fuse F5 in." ???

i have an mp3 emulator instead of the stock CD changer i had the power source connected to the red/green wire from the radio that was totally draining my battery now i have the emulator connected to the yellow/purple wire on the radio unit could it still be draining from the yellow/purple?
