Malfunctioning CD-changer
Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
got a CD-changer from a friend of mine. Removed the old one and installed the new (but old) unit. It worked swimmingly for a couple of days, but now I've got a message on the display saying "No magazine", even though there is in fact a magazine in the changer. Any ideas on an easy fix? Could it be an electronic gremlin? I'm not going to get another used one, since that might fail as well. Is it possible to install a new unit in the glove compartment, that be a brand new cd-changer or a unit which reads USBs and maybe single CDs? At least I was able to retreive 6 brilliant CDs from the old unit which the previous owner had put in. As there were a lot more work needed on the car than the previous owner had said, I'm keeping them. Have a nice evening! Sincerely, Erik |

Gremlins Erik - Norwegian ones, very hostile.
Have a look at this, seems a common problem: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=77369 Mike |
