Happy New Year chillers.

Good health to you all

We got back from our trip and today we are taking it slow.

Our friend in Scotland who was shot in the head, we learned some more about what happened. He had gone duck shooting and had walked ahead of the duck line with 2 mates.

Instead of shooting above head height, for whatever reason both let rip with their shotguns at the same time, blasting him in the head. Anyway he is out of hospital and yesterday he managed to take his dog out for a walk and he is beginning to see colours and shapes, which was quite uplifting for him.

To try and save his sight in the one good eye, surgeons injected oil into it to help with the healing. They are hoping his sight will improve when the oil is removed.

Have a great day.

A very good New Years morning to everyone of my Chill Out Friends.

Nice to hear your friend is making steady progress Phil, not a good way to ring in the New Year !

Today is a day for mostly doing ....................not a lot

Having lost a fair few lbs over Christmas I am going to make it my New Years Resolution to keep at the weight loss, by diet rather than diarrhoea this time though

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Thank you Jeff. It is something which is in your control. I know you have the power to keep at it. I have been on children’s portions these past 2 weeks and the man flu helped at meal times. When I was invited for second helpings, I had to say “no means no” like “B means B” lol Apart from your bout of diarrhea, you have a beautiful lady, a fabulous boat, an Audi, a great job, who needs the pub grub
