Default plugs&auto

Hi all just got my 75 v6 2001 conny have done the t/stat and pipes change and oil and filter, what plugs would u fit . as i think iridium plugs are not worth the money all so is changing the auto atf with in the scope of the diy mechanic i have checked the atf i need is texaco7045e atf can u confirm this is correct the last thing how easy is it to fit the cd changer in the glove box .. just a note when i got my ECT sensor it did not have a gasket with it lucky i had one that fitted ..

7045E is not correct Jezz. It's a mineral oil. You ideally need a fluid which meets Texaco N402 specification. Here is a list of most of them.

MostMost people use Carlube ATF-U. It conforms to N402 specs and is an excellent quality fluid, price is good too.

I'd also stick with iridium plugs as they last 60,000 miles have better firing characteristics and also the long life means your not fiddling with the awkward rear bank plugs so much.

I would go with RAVENOL because it says this on their site:

RAVENOL ATF JF506E is primarily designed for use in JATCO JF506E 5-speed automatic transmissions used in FORD Mondeo, Galaxy, LAND ROVER Freelander, ROVER 75, VW Bora, Sharan, Golf, JAGUAR X-Type and SEAT Alhambra.

Seems quite a hard oil to find. No stockists in this area at all.
