Rover 75 Hire
Hi,
I am looking to hire a rover 75 for a 70th Birthday. Its for my mother in law, as she once told me, that she would like to be driven somewhere in a Rover 75 and so i thought it would be a nice idea to do as a surprise for her 70th. Not sure that this is something that people do with Rover 75's on here but thought i would ask :-) I am based in Stoke on Trent and the car would be required in November this year. Thanks Scott |

Ask a member that lives close to you if they would be able to fulfill that promise. After all you just really need a lift so to speak. You then can come to some sort of arrangement between you.

As a former Chairman of a motorcycle club, I was often asked if we could take people out on our bikes, those being Honda Goldwings.
We did, but you have to be careful that you don't accept payment in any form for taking passengers, as this is then regarded as 'for hire or reward' and your insurance won't want to know in the event of an accident or incident. If the recepient insists, get them to make a donation to charity.

There are regular Nanomeets (weekends at a pub where members bring their cars along for tinkering, fixing and general gossip) just north of Wolverhampton so not far from your neck of the woods. I'm sure you'd be welcome to nosey along and might well find someone local there willing to help. IOn general we're quite proud of our cars and precious about them so it shouldn't be hard to find someone willing to take the mother in law for a ride
