Hi Ratchet, yes apparently they don't enforce the breathalyser kit, have got one though.

True Chris,

You could take no end of spares and never need them..never owned a 75 before but, did a 500 mile round trip in this one just after buying it and ran nice.

Hi spongeh, am planning to take out RAC European cover especially with family though they are teenagers, thanks.

Is your thermostat working as it should, and do you have AC, you will need it so there you have it. Enjoy Spain, and keep an eye on your car at all times, keep it locked.
Hi grivas, yes has AC and thermostat is working. Was once in Portugal, on returng to the car found my number plate missing guess it's on some kids bedroom wall.. Thanks.

Dont bother with the AA/RAC. I regularly go abroad and have had the Coop Breakdown for quite a while now. Just over £100 and you are covered for everything that the other two charge twice as much for, including cover at home.

One more thing to remember is the HI VIS jackets must be available to be put on in the car,it is no use having them in the boot.In case of a breakdown they need to be put on before exiting the car.

Hi bl52krz, just looked at coop and how about this bit?:-

EU repatriation. If your vehicle is not repaired before your planned return date to the UK, cover includes transport costs to get you, your passengers, and your vehicle home. Please note that cover will not be provided if the costs of returning your vehicle to the UK would be greater than the market value of your vehicle in the UK after the breakdown

Could be a fun argument
