Default R75 roof rails

Hi,

I have used Autoglym bumper and trim gel on my roof rails, however after a few days they look dull and a bit grey and worn out.

This may be a daft question but could you use tyre black on them for a more permanent finish?

Like Meguiars Endurance?

Any ideas or recommendations? As always cheap as possible

Thanks

Alistair

See if you can get some Autosmart Topaz. Its marketed as a polish, but its more of a cleaner and a sealant in one. Its good on plastics too, it darkens the finish a bit, and lasts about 8 weeks or so. Make sure all the trim dressing is off before you apply it.
