Freeview TV
Hi my daughter has just moved into her new house and has just bought a luxor 55in tv. Is there anyway to watch the freeview channels without a tv ariel connected. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Colin. |

I am afraid that you really do need an aerial for freeview, when it was analogue you could get away with putting a wire coat hanger in the aerial socket, but now you must have an aerial and it will cost around £100 to have an really decent aerial fitted to the outside of the house, and can be done within a couple of hours Stu Last edited by Fusilier; 6th June 2017 at 18:57.. |

Simple answer is no ... If it's smart then you should have access to catch up but not live. Depending on what the signal strength is in the area then a portable ariel might just do the job. Most modern decoders are pretty good although i have no knowledge of Luxor sets as we don't stock them at work.
