I have a December 2003 registered Rover 75 manual 1.8 Connoisseur non-turbo. (white gold). I have had the car from new. I live in South Hampshire. It has no engine undertray, this being one of the cost cutting measures implemented on 23 September 2002. Is it possible to retro-fit one? I notice the addition of a PRR thermostat seems to intrude into (what I assume was) part of the fixing area for an undertray, so would this be a problem? Conversely, what would be the advantage of having an undertray fitted?
Also, does anyone know of a good garage that will service my 75 properly and conscientously (a tall order I know). I have lost faith in the main dealership I have used until now. You wouldn't believe the incompetence in replacing the head gasket etc. (independent assessment). Many thanks. |

I'd have thought a retro fit undertray was possible but not sure the lack of one was a cost cutting measure? Both of mine have one - the 1.8T has a short one and has the PRT so shouldn't be a problem. If possible have one fitted IMO. Someone may come along and recommend a garage in you area but if not try the website goodgarageguide?
