Default CDT Tourer Getting Through The Jobs but Vibration

Had my 2002 Tourer 15 months now and working through all the foibles: Just replaced both lower arms complete with bushes from DMGRS, new Revo Fan from Jules, New Lower Engine Mount from DMGRS, new exhaust, EGR bypass, full service including fluids, filters, Pierburg MAF and Ron Box. Strut top mounts, springs,

Going a lot better and handles way better.

Since changing the lower engine mount, I am getting a really course vibration from what sounds like the other side of the bulk head under hard acceleration. Especially with a full load of passengers and accelarating up the hill. I have checked heat shields etc, but it almost sounds like the steering rack! I notice other posters have commented on the vibrating steering wheel and I definitely get that at tick over especially in gear (its an Auto) Slipping into neutral helps at lights.

Just wondering if the new lower mount is transmitting more vibration to the rack area as its almost attached to the same part of the subframe?

Rattle worsened yesterday to also add in a real deep knock and rattle right under my feet. Jacked up and got under it last night and turns out that the wishbone and bush that I had fitted last July, the bush housing bolts had started to loosen a turn or two

They are murderous things to really tighten up properly. I am now armed with an array of 18mm spanners in various versions ie ratched tilted - offset, even a combination that I cut so that it would fit into a large tube to really put a force on it!

Need to check these regularly. Has anyone used threadlock?
