Default Heated Seat Automatically Turns On

My driver-side heated seat automatically turns on by itself occasionally! Usually when the ignition is first turned on but also sometimes when driving.

I've changed to switch in centre console, but the heated seat still has a mind of its own. Any advice on what to look for? A grounding issue maybe?

I had the seat adjustment fuse blowing as soon as it was replaced. It was traced to a fault in the wiring under the seat. A 12 v seat adjustment feed wire and an earth wire both had the insulation worn away and were touching causing a short. I assumed this happened when the seat was moved causing the wires to chafe.
If the seat heating earths through the switch then the insulation of the wire to the switch under the seat might have worn and is touching an earth. Not a lot of room under the seat but worth a look.
