What is everyone up to?
Sounds great, a mate of mine lives literally 2 minutes away from there, I'm not far at all from Bath and I've been meaning to go at some point.

Afternoon all, a baking 32 here on the drive into work, thankfully the aircon is nice and chilly in the car. The same cannot be said for the factory floor!

Welcome to the chill out lounge……thank you

We had a lovely dip this morning at the weir, in fact we are still there and have just had a picnic lunch. Going back into the river again later on

It’s quite busy now as there are lots of people and families with children milling around.

To get here, we parked on a lay-by on the main road and crossed a field with cattle in it, walked along a byway, then had to cross an active railway line at the designated pedestrian crossing. Then through a meadow. Pitched up under a big tree not far from the weir. All part of the adventure. Saw 2 little doggies having a swim

Everyone is friendly and no louts. ……

Having moved from London to Bristol 4 years ago, we are still exploring and finding out where the rivers and beaches are.

Have a fab day.

32ºC is just too much at this point, however on a KFC run today my 75 stayed nice and cool and the air con was ice cold!

In case anyone wants to know, I got a zinger tower burger + a watermelon cooler, no eating in the car though!

You too mate, can't wait till I can really look round Somerset/the southwest in general, next year I'll hopefully have my license and then I'll finally be able to go about the place

Had an attack of gardening enthusiasm but as the thermometer at the side of the house is reading 33 that didn't last long!

We've all had a letter shoved through the letterbox early doors . . . . telling us the work that started in the museum a couple of weeks ago is starting soon.

Still baking hot here, way too hot for me, can't handle heat now. Going to water the garden when its cooled down a bit but at this rate that'll be about 11pm.

This heat is unbearable, I've just ventured out to water the plants & I can feel the heat radiate out from the brickwork when I walk past the house, Trying to get some sleep will be torture tonight as it's forecast to stay in the low 20's throughout the night.
