So glad to read that thankfully this time disaster was averted.

Enjoy your trip to Belfast and fingers crossed no problems with any flight cancellations.....Luck of the Irish and all that to shine on you both now
Thank you Jeff

We heard this morning from South Africa how some of the houses on the mountain were burned to the ground during the night. Waiting to hear if the family home has survived or not.

I am not sure why Belfast passport office had lots of slots available for passport collection, England had none, Wales had none and Scotland only one. That went in an instant.

Could it be the Irish in Northern Ireland have no money and are staying at home.

Have a great day watching the motor racing.

Well that's changed our plans for the day. Didn't reckon on a 2 mile queue to get in at 10.30 this morning now back home

It's one o those days today! Neighbours kids playing football out back have broken another window in the greenhouse , That's three this year now That bloomin' stiff breeze is back battering the flowers & plants down & to top it off I dropped the 2ltr milk container this morning & unbeknown to me it punctured it, Just opened the fridge awash with 2 litres of milk sloshing about in it

I hate it when somebody doesn't take care of stuff they borrow Neighbour borrowed my battery charger . . . . about two years ago. I mentioned it to his wife a few days ago, came home the other day to find the charger at the back door minus the back of the plug and the earth pin missing as well. I'll be in no hurry to lend him anything again.

Still windy here (no, Jeff isn't around), dry but some black clouds floating about.

Innit typical. Been dry apart from the odd rain shower for a couple of days and high winds so thought I'd better water the garden. Had to come in because it started raining!

Take it back to him and tell him to replace the plug.

A neighbour of mine borrowed a large bow saw from me a few years ago, when I asked for it back they denied I'd leant them one.

Never again.

Morning all,

Looks like another lovely sunny day in store for us today

I'll be cooking a roast beef dinner later. Didn't have time to do
it yesterday as I was busy watching motor racing all day
