I sent Richard a text message this morning to check on him but I had a message immediately back “not delivered”

I should add, it’s early in the UK and perhaps his phone is on night mode and not receiving messages or is switched off.

I don’t have Fiona’s phone number.
I don’t have Fiona’s number either .

Hope all is okay.

Morning all.

Thanks for the mention of Rich to get my backside into gear and let you know how things were at the weekend.

He was pretty good when we met up.

We had a very welcome interloper with a friendly dog to keep Quizzie company .

If you recognise the dog you'll know who it was .

We had a lovely walk to the George Stephenson's birthplace café - which was shut .

In fairness, they said they weren't properly opening until Easter, but it was a lovely morning with loads of folks out and about, so maybe they missed a trick?

Not to be thwarted, the 3 humans and 2 dogs set off for another establishment .

Quizzie decided that a mid-morning swim was in order so headed for the Tyne. Doing a quick "Mr Benn" style change into a mountain goat she got her desire. Several times . As none of us are abseilers I'm not too sure how we'd have got her back onto the path if the mountain goat incarnation had malfunctioned .

Tea, coffee and some properly delightful cakes later we ambled back to the cars.

Rich has already been in touch with an idea for a different route the next time we get together which I reckon is good news.

Hopefully shed destroying and replacing over the next few days so apologies in advance if I'm a bit hit-and-miss on the forum.

SWMBO thought it'd take a day

Take care everyone and look after yourselves.

I chatted with Rod yesterday, he was supposed to have his op on 7 April
but it was cancelled and it’s been rescheduled for next Tuesday 21 April. We wish Rod a speedy recovery with a good outcome. It would be great to see him back on the OC

Morning all, just up, showered and breakfasted!

Strange shifts for me this week, finishing at midnight means im not winding down until 02:00 ish, then a certain collie likes to remind me its time to wake up

Andy that’s not a very nice pattern of shifts to have to work. I have not heard of working up until midnight and wonder what the management rationale is imposing those hours. Rest easy.
