Cool

A neighbour of mine knocked and asked if I needed any compost for the garden. She had two bin loads that she needed to clear out. She filled the bags up and I ended up having 8 bag loads. Bloomin hard work but happy with the outcome.

Suppose I better finish work, check the car over before I head out to visit a friend in the Scottish borders tonight and grab a coffee with the wife before I head out.

Morning all,

Ros tested positive for Covid last night. I knew that even trying to be as careful as possible, it would prove difficult to avoid whilst living under the same roof.

My five days are up today so I’ll be testing this morning .
I’m feeling much much better so I’m hopeful for a negative result.

I’ll keep you all posted

Morning all, that’s not good Jeff, as you say though it’s was going to be difficult not to pass on the virus, hope Ros has a mild dose of it like yours was.

Morning Andy, morning Jeff, morning all

Jeff, I am glad to hear you are over the worst of it and feeling better. Bad luck Ros has tested positive. Ros is a strong lady and she will get through it. Hopefully it’s going to come back negative for you. What are your plans for today?

The forecast here is 30C

Yesterday it got to 31C and I managed to cool down by swimming in our cold water pool. This helps strengthen the heart, the lungs and stamina. My next appointment is on 28 March running on the treadmill for the cardiac stress test, not really looking forward to it.

Yesterday the Kenyan government put the price of diesel up by 3p / 5 Kenyan shillings, but the fuel is heavily subsidised so that the country doesn’t grind to a stop.

Cool

Morning all.

Gardening duties this morning.

This afternoon, and with the assistance of Allen, we will be taking Banana up to Polyne garage at Truelefoot. She is going to have a new fuel pump/filter fitted. Plus a intermediate service.

Get well soon Ros.
