Cool

Slow cooker out and some chicken casserole on the go.

Got the garage tidied up. Took the rubbish along to the tip with the aid of the Bear.

Got home just as the heavens opened and it’s been raining ever since.

The chicken casserole was much needed.

A lovely sunny day today, a high of 13c with more of the same to come over the next few days.
I've been fairly busy all day, Planted a few perennials in the front border this morning then top dressed and reseeded a couple of spots in the lawns.
Fitted new wiper blades all round to the Venga this afternoon which took all of 3 minutes with their push button fixings then popped out and bought some some diamond tipped blades for the multitool in preparation for some wall chasing tomorrow for some electrical upgrades.
A simple but tasty dinner of homemade sausage rolls chips and baked beans.
Now relaxing with a glass of Pepsi max!!

He says he will turn up today at some point today, but not holding out much hope but last week I had arranged for it to go into a garage I used to use when I had a Mini on Friday down in Port Seaton.
Cheers, there is a lot of helpfulness in the club. Several years ago, Trikey offered to down tools and drive all the way to Bristol to help me with a problem on the Rover 75 S reg. On another occasion when the S reg needed to get to a members garage in the south, he arranged for it to be carried on a flatbed for £50 so that repairs could be completed. It’s worth finding out who is local to you. It could save you thousands in the long term.

Good luck with the mobile mechanic.

Morning all, how is everyone?

Yesterday I paced myself, no breathlessness or palpitations. This morning I am doing the same. I have been up, watered the flowering vines, watered the herbs - lemon and mint. Switched on the pool filter pump and added water to the pool. Next thing is to have a cuppa and a shower.

The forecast is 29-30C and sunny.

Morning Phil, a nice bright start here again today, a little chilly but that’s to be expected, off to a warm plastics factory shortly 🤣
