Good Morning everyone.

The bright yellow orb is high in the sky here too. .

Well, my first Japanese meal was superb. And very entertaining as it was cooked in front of our eyes on a huge hotplate by a chef who was obviously very skilled in his craft .

Those in the North East may know HanaHana near to Newcastle's ChinaTown and I'll happily recommend it.

Have a lovely day.

I've been tasked with trimming me bush The big Laurel bush
It's too hot for that malarkey plus there are still birds nesting in there so I don't want to disturb them with the electric clippers......that's my excuse anyway

I've just broke the crust on the next batch of comfrey tea in the barrel to give it a stir & managed to splash it on me keks I stink now.

Don't know if this applies to bushes but a neighbour had a couple of dead trees they wanted to cut down. Mainly because if they fell the wrong way they'd go through the roof - literally.

The Council refused permission until the autumn for the "..there might be birds nesting in there" reason.

All gone now but I'm now wondering if there's some rules somewhere about clipping bushes . After all you wouldn't want to be messing in a bush that's got wildlife in it - would you

LOL Nowt like a neat bush Yeah this is a Autumn job for sure, besides there's a rose bush growing up through it & it must be 12' tall sticking out the top of this Laurel the roses are in bloom & the colour of the flowers are beautiful, I'd have to whizz through them with the clippers if I trimmed it now.

It's been bootiful today especially with a nice cooling breeze.
Couldn't be bothered cooking owt so 'ping meals' for tea, chicken Tikka Masala & rice.
Just ordered some chilli seeds for next year, 'Habanada' they have all the taste & smell of chilli's but without the heat.

As England are playing tonight thought I'd do a proper English supper.

Roast Beef dinner with my beef dripping Yorkshire Pud.
Followed by my mixed berries crumble
