Good job my other half is working. She put some dried out cake on the tray on the bird feeder yesterday evening despite my pointing out it'll attract the magpies, crows etc. well it did, a crow landed, looked at the cake and decided a Coaltit looked more appetising It grabbed the Coaltit in its beak and flew away with the poor wee thing shrieking before I could do anything about it Coaltit should have had more sense than to go within reach of a crow.

I know Steve but feel quite privileged to have one knocking around, its a rare, very nervous visitor, to quote the RSPB website: "jays are actually quite difficult to see. They are shy woodland birds, rarely moving far from cover."

Morning all, A bit of overnight rain but dry with light cloud here, Up with the larks to pick daughter up from the garage, she's having some work done on her handbrake, No not a Rover 75 Kuga.
Off to take Mam for her annual heart check up later this morning too, I'll try not to upset the 'parkingeye' gods this time.
