It was a bit of a shock to the system when my alarm went off at 6.30am this morning - well out of the habit

Afternoon all,

Back from our break in Cumbria.

Giving the Passat a really thorough clean - wheels off, wheel arches, underneath etc. She goes in for her MoT tomorrow and I don't reckon it's fair on the testers to present them with a car caked in mud etc. They may well spot something developing which isn't apparent if covered in heaven knows what.

Rich - fingers crossed for your mum. Shout up any time if you need something. It's very tough if you're trying to sort everything and do all your normal day to day stuff as well.

What a miserable gloomy drizzly day it's been here, We've had the house lights on all day because it's been so dark.
Hassleback taters for tea with some grilled fillets of cod in the oven now.

Morning Ian - another early (well, it is by my standards!) morning start today - another school run. It's turned quite a bit warmer here too - AND we've got a few small patches of blue sky.
Taking SWMBO to the local hospital this afternoon - she has an appointment with a Physiotherapist to see what they can do with a painful shoulder.
